About me:
I am a retired Navy Officer, Medical Service Corp, Laboratory & Blood Bank supervisor, manager, department head and for 12 years an instructor in those subjects. I have been divorced since 1991 and have no family.
I like to read, mostly historical, classical, military related subjects, mysteries, "techno-thrillers" and pre-1980 science fiction. My taste in music runs to classic rock and folk, with a bit of modern country-western and southern rock thrown in along with some semi-classical. I enjoy fishing, hunting, animal & bird watching, taking care of my pets & garden and fooling around on the Internet. I am too liberal to be a conservative and too conservative to be a liberal and I certainly am NOT a "moderate". Plus I am an agnostic and don't seem to have any personal need for "religion" or an "after-life". I am NOT an environmentalist, vegetarian, or any other 'yuppie' politically correct type, but rather am a dedicated conservationist and steward.
I grew up on a farm in S.E. Kansas, went to college on a scholarship, loans, and work study program. My B.S. is double major in Chemistry & Mathematics with a minor in Microbiology; my M.S. degrees are in Medical Technology & Toxicology and another in Information Systems Technology.
Yup, I am a bit weird and strange; a dichotomy wrapped up in an enigma. Aside from the rather mundane things i mentioned above that i like, i also like good pornographic literature, especially the D/s & B/D genre of the male submissive category. Guess that also makes me a bit kinky and twisted too.
